The ladies of ABC’s “The View” invited Democratic vice presidential nominee Sen. Tim Kaine (Va.) on their show on Thursday.

The co-hosts asked Kaine about his debate performance. Kaine received a lot of criticism for constantly interrupting his opponent, Republican vice presidential nominee Mike Pence (Ind.).

A portion of an “SNL” skit poking fun of Kaine’s interruptions was played. Kaine laughed through the clip.

When it ended, Kaine had something to say: “I’ve apparently watched too many episodes of ‘The View.'”

He was referring to the way the panel of ladies constantly interrupt guests as well as each other. The co-hosts could only say that the joke was a job well-done.
