Ernstlatta LaFrance, a 30-year-old mom from Miami, landed herself in jail after she showed up at Carol City Senior High School to confront a female student who had gotten into a fight with her daughter. Upon arriving at the school, the mom allegedly knocked the girl’s phone out of her hand and then hit her several times.

LaFrance continued her streak of violence later that day when the girl showed her at her home to retrieve her cell phone. She further attacked the girl, breaking her middle finger. According to authorities, La France then grabbed an ax and destroyed the teen’s car. Her girlfriend, Erlisa Evans, 28, also got involved by firing gun shots into the air outside of the house.

LaFrance later posted a video of the incident on Facebook, warning her daughter’s rival “to beware.”

“The defendant also bragged on Facebook telling the victim that suffering two black eyes was not the end and she would use a gun,” an officer wrote in the police report, adding that the whole fiasco began when LaFrance’s daughter got into a fight with another group of girls at the Miami-Dade Fair & Exposition.

LaFrance was arrested and faces a slew of charges, including child abuse, aggravated battery and strong-armed robbery. Her partner Evans was also arrested for firing a gun in a public place and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. LaFrance is currently being held at Miami-Dade’s Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on a $38,000 bond.
