Paris Hilton revealed in an Australian interview that she voted for our president-elect. When asked about the topic she told hosts of “The Project” that “I’ve known him since I was a little girl, so, yes.”
While the Hilton family’s wealth is derived almost exclusively from hotels, the Trumps began in real estate. The Donald’s foray into hotels essentially began with Trump Tower in 1978 (Paris was born in 1981). Unsurprisingly, the Hilton and Trump families have become closer because of their shared business interests.
Trump has discussed Hilton on a number of occasions. The Huffington Post released a video of him on Howard Stern’s show where he described her as beautiful and said “I’ve known Paris from the time she was 12″, saying when she first walked into the room his remark was “who the hell is that?” He went on to deny that he wanted to “bang her” as Paris is only a few months older than his daughter. Paris has not said much about Trump other than a few sentences where she spoke kindly of the businessman turned president.
The hotel heiress, who’s estimated to be worth $100 million, stayed silent throughout the campaign while other notable figures lined up behind candidates. When CNBC asked her about an endorsement, Hilton stated “my mom always told me not to talk about money or politics.”According to People, Paris went on to say about Trump “you know, I think on TV people like to say things about certain people, but he’s actually a very sweet person. I like him a lot.”
As Trump picks his cabinet, there have not been any mentions of Paris Hilton getting a role, but we won’t rule it out.
