Billy Eichner had the honor of meeting President Obama and couldn’t wait to tell Ellen DeGeneres all about it.

The comedian made his debut appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” Wednesday and wasted no time talking about his moment with the president.

Eichner was invited to one of the last parties thrown at the White House by the Obama family. According to him, it was quite the celebration.

“It’s like 2 o’clock in the morning and the president has his sleeves rolled up and a couple of buttons down and he’s breaking it down on the dance floor! Questlove is blasting Kendrick Lamar in the White House, next to a huge picture of Mary Todd Lincoln, and we’re all dancing together,” he said. “It’s unreal!”

Eichner said he approached President Obama and introduced himself around midnight.

“I got to thank him. I thanked him for all of the things that he did for the LGBT community. And he said it was one of the things that he was the most proud of,” Eichner told DeGeneres. “I was really happy I got the chance to do that.”

“We are going to miss them,” DeGeneres added.
