Melissa Joan Hart and her family have been touring Australia for the last week, making friends with crocodiles, spending time at the beach and even sampling the local fare (see: vegemite).

This last weekend, however, worlds collided when the American actress took her husband and children to the Australia Zoo, where she met the Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin’s daughter Bindi Irwin.

The zoo was opened by Bindi’s grandparents, Bob and Lyn Irwin and serves as the largest wildlife conservation facility in the world, according to the website.
“Such a fantastic day our family will never forget at @australiazoo with the incredible #IrwinFamily and @BindisueIrwin who our little Tucker fell madly in love with! “#SteveIrwin was the coolest guy ever”- Mason our 11yr old,” Hart wrote on Instagram.
In a picture with just Bindi, the “Clarissa Explains it All” actress gushed about the meeting.
“Had the amazing honor of meeting this lovely lady today! So thrilling for me (oh and the kids). And @BindiSueIrwin was cool too! ? We had the most amazing zoo experience at the @AustraliaZoo. #AustraliaZoo PS better pic to come. This was a pic of a pic.”
