TMZ caught up with the singer as she attended an anti-Trump rally in New York City on Thursday night and she sent another message to Trump.

She admitted that seeing the people at the rally gave her “hope.”

“I think it’s hard to have hope right now. I couldn’t watch him come into Washington. I don’t know that I will be able to watch the news for a very long time,” she explained.

When asked if he will make it through four years of the presidency, Cher revealed that she is unsure of what the future holds.

“I kept seeing all of the things that he was doing and I kept saying, ‘this will be the thing,'” she said of his controversial behavior before the election. “He’s getting away with things that no president has gotten away with and it doesn’t seem to bother anyone.”

Cher said that she does have hope for one thing in his upcoming presidency.

“If he can bring jobs to those who are suffering, that don’t have jobs. If he can make some progress for people that don’t have any hope,” she said. “I don’t hate his supporters. I just feel really bad for them. I hope he can do something.”
