Catelynn and Tyler Baltierra are not amused by the backlash they received following a fake pregnancy announcement on social media.

According to PEOPLE, the “Teen Mom OG” stars got fans buzzing when Catelynn tweeted at her husband, proclaiming she wants to have another baby.
“Wahhh I’m ready for another baby @TylerBaltierra,” she wrote.
Her husband responded, ““Me too babe.”

Shortly after making that announcement Catelynn posted a fake sonogram on Instagram sharing that she was pregnant with her third child with a cartoon cutout of a baby added to the image.
“Proud to announce a new baby Baltierra @tylerbaltierramtv,” she wrote alongside the image.
She later followed up the image with another post of a meme that read, “I’m just kidding … but seriously.” She clarified that though she wants another child, she is not pregnant at this time.
Tyler took to Twitter to respond to critics who were quick to slam the reality stars for the “insensitive” post.

Responding to the backlash, Tyler took to Twitter again.

In 2009, the reality couple was first featured on an emotional episode of “16 and Pregnant” where they made the heartbreaking choice to give their first daughter, Carly, up for adoption. They have maintained contact with the child and her adoptive parents though have recently struggled with the adoptive parents’ decision to keep Carly off of their spin-off “Teen Mom OG.”
Catelynn and Tyler welcomed a second daughter, NovaLee in January 2015.
