Brad Pitt can breathe a sigh of relief today.

The actor has officially been cleared by the FBI after an investigation of alleged child abuse on a private airplane in September.

According to Page Six, the FBI released a statement saying it will no longer investigate Pitt, who has been cleared. The bureau will also not press charges against the actor.

Sources claim that Pitt became enraged on a flight to Los Angeles and allegedly got physical with his eldest son, Maddox. His wife, Angelina Jolie, reportedly filed for divorce just days after the incident.

Custody of the couple’s six children has been an ongoing battle. Jolie has reportedly asked for physical custody of the children and will allow Pitt visitation. Pitt has reportedly asked for joint custody with his soon-to-be ex-wife.

California law reportedly favors joint custody, but details of high-profile agreements are rarely made public.

Pitt and Jolie have not commented on the FBI ruling.
