In 2011, a real-life fairy tale came true when Kate Middleton married her college sweetheart and heir to the throne Prince William, and all eyes were on the happy couple.
For months, all anyone could talk about was what Middleton would wear and who would show up for the festivities. Vendors in England even sold commemorative merchandise to mark the occasion.
When the day finally arrived, people lined up to get a glimpse of the soon-to-be-duchess, and for those of us who were across the pond, we woke up around 5 a.m. to watch the festivities unfold. (Seriously, some of us did that.)
Middleton arrived to the wedding in a Rolls-Royce Phantom VI, and the moment she got out of the car, everyone took notice. However, some people were more focused on Kate’s little sister, Pippa Middleton, who served as maid of honor and fluffed her Alexander McQueen designed wedding gown as she made her way into Westminster Abbey.
Allow us to refresh your memory from that moment.
Pippa Middleton got a lot of attention that day while wearing a white dress designed by Sarah Burton, the same woman at Alexander McQueen who designed Kate Middleton’s gown. Some were surprised that Pippa Middleton wore white, but that’s a thing for British royalty.
One thing stood out about the rest for Pippa Middleton from that day. Kate’s little sister recieved high prasies for her beautiful physique, specifically her booty.
@iamToddyTickles took to Twitter with, “Pippa Middleton, best body at the wedding other than David Beckham.”
So, here’s to you, Pippa Middleton. You were supposed to be a background accessory that day and wound up stealing the spotlight from your sister, who literally became royalty
We salute you.
