Just days after “Dance Moms” star Abby Lee Miller announced she quitting the show, Entertainment Tonight confirmed Cheryl Burke will take over for her. Burke previously performed on 19 seasons of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” but is not currently in the competition.

Sources claim filming for the season will resume this week and has been picked up for four additional episodes.

“It’s a go with or without Abby,” the source said “It’s been up in the air because the network said it’s either all of the cast or they weren’t doing any [more episodes].”

A second sourced added, “[Abby] bolted from [filming] three or four episodes recently.” Celebrity choreographer Laurieann Gibson has also been rumored to be making an appearance on the season.

Sources claim that Miller has been “spiraling and making decisions that most people would think are not smart.”

On Monday, she took to Instagram with a rant about why she was quitting the show.

“I WILL NO LONGER TAKE PART IN DANCE MOMS,” Miller wrote. “FOR THE PAST SIX YEARS/SEVEN SEASONS I HAVE ASKED, BEGGED, AND EVEN DEMANDED CREATIVE CREDIT FOR ALL THE IDEAS, AWARD WINNING ROUTINES, THEMES AND COSTUMING – TO NO AVAIL!”

She continued, “I JUST HAVE A PROBLEM WITH BEING MANIPULATED, DISRESPECTED, AND USED – DAY IN AND DAY OUT BY MEN WHO NEVER TOOK A DANCE LESSON IN THEIR LIVES AND TREAT WOMEN LIKE DIRT!”
