JANESVILLE, Wis. — A teen girl at a Janesville, Wisconsin, rally for Donald Trump was reportedly maced after a confrontation.
According to NBC News reporter Shaquille Brewster, the protester said she was maced after pushing back someone who she said touched her chest inappropriately.
USA Today reported that the protester was a 15-year-old girl, according to police.
Molly Beck, a Wisconsin State Journal reporter near the incident, tweeted that the confrontation ended with the girl punching a man and getting pepper-sprayed.
Beck also tweeted an expletive-laced video of the confrontation recorded by another bystander.
Video of the girl getting medical attention after being maced has also been tweeted.
Another video, containing explicit language, was posted by a Janesville community Facebook page.
The video shows the protester confronting the man, saying he touched her breast, before it appears she thew a punch or pushed the man.
The man then appears to mace her.
ABC reporter Candace Smith tweeted that police have no suspect yet.
In a statement, the police department said, “A male in the crowd groped the 15-year-girl; when she pushed him away, another person in the (crowd) sprayed her. We are currently looking for two suspects, one for the sexual assault and one for the pepper spray.”
The incident is the latest in a string of violence surrounding Trump’s campaign events.
