Herman Cain commended New Jersey Governor Chris Christie Friday on his program for Christie’s apology over the controversy surrounding the earlier George Washington Bridge traffic scandal.

“Leaders, real ones, don’t try to spin the story. Leaders don’t try to ignore the story…and leaders don’t promote the people that lie, they get fired,” Cain ranted.

“That’s in contrast to our president, who quite frankly, did the opposite of all three of those qualities relative to all of the scandals going on in Washington, D.C.,” Cain said.
