Herman Cain railed against the December unemployment number Monday on his radio program.

“Not only did the economy add only 74,000 jobs in December,” Cain ranted, “but the big headline is that 347,000 people left the work force”.

“Now what that means, ladies and gentlemen, is that that unemployment number of 6.7 percent means absolutely nothing.

“The real unemployment rate is about 13.1 percent if you add those people in who have flat out given up,” he lamented.
