The power couple is a vital facet of Washington politics that often goes unrecognized. Why do you think Bill and Hillary stayed together for so long? The person a politician shares his or her arm with is just as important as that politician’s stance on immigration or gay marriage.

Washington D.C. needs more power couples, even if just to keep the American people entertained. So, since your amusement is our number one priority, we came up with seven political power couples that really need to make it official.
