The events occurring in the world today could have some of us feeling as if this year’s holidays won’t feel the same. The hatred, tragedies and sheer fear of what is going to happen next might have some of us down during what is supposed to be “the happiest time of the year.” The pressure to be happy might even make some of us even sadder.

And then a song comes along that changes everything.

Enter country a cappella group Home Free, who just released a dynamic video for their version of the holiday classic, “Do You Hear What I Hear?” Filmed in an actual ice castle in the heart of Minnesota, Home Free’s band members say that the video and song served as the perfect way to kick off the holiday season — the right way.

“We’re very excited to kick off the Christmas season with this tune,” said Home Free’s vocal percussion/beat boxer Adam Rupp in a recent press release for the song, which is featured on their Christmas release, “Full of Cheer.” “The arrangement was really fun for us to put together, and I’m particularly proud to share it. I hope that it resonates with lovers of all kinds of music.”
