The Cadillac Three frontman Jaren Johnston is one of those guys that likes to keep things quiet and seldom wants to get too loud about his long list of songwriting accomplishments. including No. 1 singles like Tim McGraw’s “Southern Girl,” Jake Owen’s “Beachin’” and Keith Urban and Eric Church’s “Raise ‘Em Up.”

But even he couldn’t stay quiet about this news.

During The Cadillac Three’s opening set on Oct. 13 as part of Florida Georgia Line’s Dig Your Roots Tour, Jaren decided to tell the sold-out Nashville audience that he and his wife Evyn were expecting their first child!

“Evyn and I have been together for 15 years,” Jaren said in a press release about the big baby news. “We’ve been through so much together but nothing has ever been as exciting as expecting our first baby. We can’t wait to meet this little badass in April!”

To make the moment even more romantic is the fact that Jaren announced the amazing news before tearing into their song “White Lightning,” which he wrote specifically for his bride.
