Yana Gudkova, a Russian model, is suing married real estate developer Brent Carrier, claiming Carrier was her sugar daddy and that he kicked her out of his Chelsea pied-à-terre and stole some of her belongings when she stopped being intimate with him.

The case is being heard by the Manhattan Supreme Court, where Gudkova has said that Carrier allowed her to live in his apartment for free, as long as she remained his mistress. She said that he frequently promised her that he was getting divorced. However, when it became clear that the divorce wasn’t happening, Gudkova broke off the relationship.

Gudkova argued that Carrier only wanted her to “be available to him as an occasional intimate companion whenever he wished,” but he said he allowed her to live in the apartment “as a favor” because “it was an apartment he didn’t need or want” and that the two never slept together.

“She was merely a guest,” Carrier’s lawyer said, adding that Carrier gave Gudkova all of her belongings back when she moved out.

The model, however, has said otherwise and is seeking unspecified damages as well as demanding he return her jewelry, Rolex watch, Mac laptop, iPad Mini and a pair of snakeskin purses.
