Things have certainly taken a turn in the Brangelina case.

Brad Pitt will not be prosecuted for the incident on his private jet, TMZ reports.

According to the news outlet, the FBI was never engaged in an investigation; sources say there wasn’t a case in the first place.

As Rare previously reported, Pitt was under investigation by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Families and the LAPD for alleged verbal and physical abuse against the six children he shares with Angelina Jolie.

The investigation began after Pitt reportedly had an outburst on a private plane. He supposedly became belligerent, yelled at and got “physical” with his family.

Now the news outlet is claiming that the incident should never have even been referred to the agency.

The FBI is still acquiring facts related to the case, however, they’re no longer calling it an investigation. Behind the scenes, TMZ is told the case will go nowhere.

Jolie, however, is still requesting full custody of the couple’s 6 kids.
