The past six months have been a roller coaster for Jana Kramer, and one that would have destroyed many women. Just before she began her run on the popular reality competition show, “Dancing With the Stars,” she announced her separation from husband Michael Caussin. Shortly after she began dancing, news broke that the reason for the separation is that Mike was a sex addict admitted into rehab for treatment.

Then the shocking details of her first marriage to Michael Gambino were revealed. We learned that he had been so physically abusive, he nearly killed the petite beauty.

Add to that accusations and speculations on her relationship with her professional dance partner, Gleb Savchenko, who is a happily married father of one, and you might think Jana would just crawl in a hole for the next year, but no. Not only is she remaining a pillar of strength for her baby girl, Jolie, she’s also an absolute inspiration of what a positive attitude and a heart full of hope looks like.

Jana recently spoke with Us Magazine about her current relationship status. “Even though I don’t have my ‘the one,’ there’s still hope for that,” she says, flashing that dazzling smile.

We’ve also pointed out, and it is mentioned in the interview as well, that Jana does still wear her thin wedding band and has always said that she and Michael are separated. He did issue a public apology to his bride, but we have no further word on his rehabilitation process or if there is any talk of reconciliation between the two.

This year’s “Dancing With the Stars” cast appears to be closer than any other cast before, which has provided Jana with a great source of support. The show also seems to help distract her from her troubles, but the competition may also have been a bit of therapy, too. She’ll dance to her current single, “Circles,” in Monday night’s finals round.
