Amy Schumer lost weight for her movie 2015 movie “Trainwreck” and finally disclosed why.
Schumer, 35, went on the U.K.’s “The Jonathan Ross Show” to talk about the unfair treatment of women in Hollywood, which is set to air on Saturday, the NY Daily News reported.
“The only change was that it was explained to me before I did that movie (‘Trainwreck’) that if you weigh over 140 pounds as a woman in Hollywood, if you’re on the screen it will hurt people’s eyes,” Schumer told the show.
Schumer said she lost some weight after succumbing to the idea of being thin in Hollywood.
Three months ago, Schumer said she felt “happy, strong and healthy,” about her body.
I meant to write "good morning trolls!" I hope you find some joy in your lives today in a human interaction and not just in writing unkind things to a stranger you've never met who triggers something in you that makes you feel powerless and alone. This is how I look. I feel happy. I think I look strong and healthy and also like miss trunchbull from Matilda. Kisses!
You look fabulous, Amy!
