UPDATE: Buffalo Wild Wings has issued a statement regarding Cook’s tweet. “Buffalo Wild Wings takes food preparation, service and quality extremely seriously and we are looking into this situation. We’ve reached out to Jared Cook and our suppliers for more information.”
Green Bay Packers tight end Jared Cook got a lot more than he bargained for when he opened up a box of fried chicken wings earlier this week. Expecting to find some perfectly seasoned wings, the NFL player discovered a fried chicken head. Yes, a full chicken head.
When a Twitter user commented “no way dude,” Cook responded appropriately.
According to the 29-year-old football player, this all went down at Buffalo Wild Wings. When Cook raised concerns with staff about the chicken head, he was simply told “sorry, this happens” because their chicken is just so darn fresh. TMZ reached out to Buffalo Wild Wings for comment but have yet to receive word back.
In the wise words of Simon Cowell, “it’s a no from me.”
