Goodbye Jana Kramer and Gleb Savchenko!

On Monday night, the top four dancing duos — Val Chmerkovskiy and Laurie Hernandez; Sharna Burgess and James Hinchcliffe; Jana Kramer and Gleb Savchenko and Lindsay Arnold and Calvin Johnson Jr. — took to the stage for night one of the two-part finale.

For the judges’ pick this week, Kramer and Savchenko were able to take on another Tango for the redemption round. During rehearsals, Savchenko came down with a nasty flu and it was difficult for Kramer to dance without him. When it came time to perform, Savchenko was there to dance on the ballroom floor with his partner.

The redemption tango earned the pair a 35 out of a possible 40 points.

For the freestyle round, Kramer and Savchenko performed a beautiful routine and it was applauded by the judges. Backstage, Savchenko became emotional when he revealed he felt like he fell during the performance but the judges rewarded them with 36 out of a possible 40 points.

Tonight’s performances just weren’t enough to keep this duo in the game and they were sent home just one day before the finale.

“This has been amazing,” she said as she took her final bow. “Those people up there absolutely deserve to be there.”

She continued and turned to her partner, “he’s been the most incredible partner. I have learned so much about myself and what I can do and how strong I can really be. It was so much fun!”

The second part of the finale of “Dancing with the Stars” airs Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
