“Tale as old as time, song as old as rhyme.”

Those lyrics have lived on for years, but no one sings “Beauty and the Beast” better than Mrs. Potts herself, Angela Landsbury.

At a 25th anniversary celebration for the film, Landsbury took the stage and performed a beautiful rendition of the song.

When she finished, she added her famous line to Mrs. Potts’ son, Chip, who stays up late to watch Belle dance with the Beast.

“Run along and get in the cupboard, Chip. It’s time you were in bed. Good night, love!”

Landsbury was given a standing ovation as she was escorted from the stage.

Well deserved! Brava!
