At age 49, Nicole Kidman is holding out hope to have another baby with hubby Keith Urban this year. She delivered their daughter, Sunday, in 2008 and then the couple welcomed their second daughter, Faith, via surrogate, in 2010. Now, she’s hoping to add a third child to the family.

Nicole tells “The Daily Mail,” “I still have the faintest hope that something may happen to me this year. Keith and I would love to have more babies. My grandmother gave birth to my mother at 49! I would be beyond happy and just welcome it with open arms. Children are the joy of my life.”

Nicole had tried and tried to have a child for years before, and she admits it was a hard road for her.

“You go through heartbreak again and again and then you start to tell yourself it might never happen,” Nicole explains. “I honestly never believed I would actually give birth to a child, then at 41 [years old] I became a mother. After so many years of trying, it was so against the odds. We went through a surrogacy with my second daughter because we wanted another child so much that it hurt. I felt my chances of conceiving again were slimmer and slimmer. And then we got Faith.”

For Nicole, there’s no place on earth she’d rather be than spending time with those babies.

She adds, “My comfort zone is my family – my happiest place in the world is in our huge bed with Keith and the girls just chilling out and chatting. Give me that over a Hollywood party any day.”
