A 27-year-old bride-to-be and her technology entrepreneur boss were killed when the Tesla they were driving slammed into a tree and burst into flames, according to the Daily Mail.
Casey Speckman was driving the 2015 S-Model electric car at high speed with her boss, 44-year-old Kevin McCarthy, who owned the vehicle. The accident happened at approximately 1 a.m. on Thursday in Indianapolis.

Speckman was pronounced dead at the scene, and McCarthy was rushed to the hospital but could not be revived, according to the Indianapolis Star.
Those at the scene said the car “bounced around” after crashing into the tree where it exploded, according to the news outlet.
A witness, Al Finnell, who was driving near Speckman and McCarthy, said he sped up to avoid debris.
“It hit that tree and it bounced around and all of a sudden it just exploded,” Finnell told WTHR.
“I had to accelerate my vehicle because all the car parts went up in the air. I had to accelerate just to get away from it.”
Finnell continued that the car exploded into a “big ball of fire.”
