A rather large Ben Affleck showed up on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” looking bigger than usual this week.
“Is there a monkey under there?” Kimmel asked when the actor sat down. “What’s going on?”
When Affleck’s suit started moving, Kimmel couldn’t resist opening it up. Low and behold, Affleck had smuggled his best friend, Matt Damon, onstage.
“I think it’s time to bury the hatchet here,” Affleck said. Affleck insisted that Damon have a seat next to him and Kimmel continued to oppose it.
“This feels amazing!” Damon said and the audience cheered. When Kimmel continued to insist that Damon was not allowed on set and that he was trespassing, his audience booed.
“My own audience has turned on me!” Kimmel exclaimed. He then called in Guillermo to roll Damon offstage. “I know your intentions are good but I am furious right now.”
Kimmel shared the first picture of Damon and Affleck together at their first Oscars ceremony.
“I have been figuratively carrying him for years,” Affleck laughed.
Poor Matt Damon!
