After Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl was traded for five Taliban leaders, a group of Arizona bikers decided they have had enough.
With U.S. Marine Andrew Tahmooressi still locked in a Mexican prison, the bikers decided to ride to Mexico to see if they can do anything to inspire his release. This, they believe, will accomplish more than the inactivity of the federal government on the matter.
“It’s just an egregious act by the Mexican government…This is uncalled for. This man is not a criminal. This is a true American hero they’ve got down there,” one of the riders told local Channel 3.
While they don’t have a firm plan about what to do once they are in Mexico, the bikers hope that they will attract more riders along the way.
