Bindi Irwin, daughter of wildlife expert and “Crocodile Hunter” Steve Irwin,  is making sure her father’s memory and legacy never die.

Bindi attended The Australia Zoo Steve Irwin Gala Dinner this past weekend to help raise money for Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors, an organization which funds conservation projects all over the world.

She attended the event with her mother, Terri Irwin, her brother, Robert Irwin, and her boyfriend, Chandler Powell.

During the event, she took over the AustraliaZoo Wildlife Warriors’ Instagram page and shared images of the event throughout the evening.

“Tonight we will be raising funds for all of the animals that come through our doors at the Wildlife Hospital for life-saving treatment,” Bindi explained to her followers before the event started. “Together, we’re continuing Dad’s legacy to protect our wildlife. Thank you for sharing this journey with us.”

As Bindi posted pictures of the evening’s glamorous happenings, her message always came back around to one person: her father.

At the end of the night, she wrote in an Instagram post, “As the#SteveIrwinGala comes to an end this year we reflect on the beautiful memories we have of the ultimate Wildlife Warrior, my Dad, Steve Irwin. His legacy will live on forever.”

We can’t help but think that Steve would be so proud of his daughter and the work she’s doing in his honor.
