Blake Shelton took to Facebook Live to announce his 2017 tour with RaeLynn in a very creative way. Instead of just saying, “Hey, we’re going on tour,” the two stars played a “Newlyweds”-style game in which they were asked a question and then each wrote down what they thought the other’s answer would be. The results were quite illuminating.

When asked what they had to have before a show, RaeLynn said Blake had to have vodka, and he said he just pictured her watching cartoons like “Spongebob Squarepants” and eating cereal.

The next question asked each of them to give their first impressions of each other when they met on “The Voice.” Rae was really sweet saying she thought Blake was “authentic and loyal.” Blake misunderstood and thought he was supposed to reveal what he thought RaeLynn thought of him on that first meeting — “Pain in my ass.” He went on to say that RaeLynn really is a pain in his ass.

Of course, these answers were all in good fun. RaeLynn and Blake have been great friends ever since she was on his team on “The Voice.”

And Blake can’t pass up a good joke either. That’s why he’s named his new outing Doing It to Country Songs Tour after the song of the same name on his latest album, “If I’m Honest.”

The trek starts Feb. 16 in Bakersfield, California and will hit Chicago, Los Angeles, Seattle, Las Vegas, San Diego and several other cities through March.

Of note, Blake is up for two Rare Country Awards, including Story of the Year and Male Artist of the Year. You can vote for him here.
