Things have been awfully quiet on the Blake Shelton/Miranda Lambert front as of late. At least they were, until Shelton showed up on the radio syndicated show “The Bobby Bones Show” on the morning of September 23.

“In Oklahoma, it happens so fast,” Shelton said about his quickie divorce to Lambert on “The Bobby Bones Show” and reported by ABCNews.

“Like, Miranda and I didn’t have any kids, and we had a pre-nuptial agreement, whatever we had. Once we filed for divorce, it was over in, like, I think it was like a nine or ten day waiting period until it’s over.”

Shelton also commented on the rumors that began to swirl just before the official divorce announcement back in July.

“We knew if rumblings and rumors started coming out, they would just be that, because by the time anybody knew anything it was over, it was done,” Shelton added. “Our whole thing was, we are going to be cool about this, it is what it is. We’re buddies.”

Shelton is currently in Nashville for a number of appearances and performances, which includes a special celebration at the Grand Ole Opry on September 22 and a “once-in-a-lifetime” Music Row concert on the evening of September 23.
