God knows most of us get a little nervous when we look at life 30 years down the road.
But not Blake Shelton. Heck, that Oklahoma boy sounds like he has quite a plan.
“I hope to be doing this stuff, but not that much honestly,” Blake told an enthusiastic crowd gathered for a special VIP concert before his show in Peoria on Sept. 15 when asked what he would like to be doing when he turns 70 years old. “I’d still like to be doing some tour dates. I don’t even know what that’s going to be like… if I’m still alive. I’m 40 now. I’d like to do 20 shows a year and then hunting and fishing during the other part of the year. If I could have a dream, it would be that.”
Of course, leave it to Blake to take a heartwarming question and turn it around a bit. “A bunch of jokes come to mind,” Blake laughed as a woman in the crowd who was turning 70 that night asked the question. ”But since you just turned 70 today, I had to dial it back a little bit.”
Absent from his answer was the mention of love Gwen Stefani or the idea of having grandchildren — a question yelled out by another audience member.
