Burger King is officially bringing a black burger, similar to one of the menu items in its Japan restaurants, to the United States.

Unlike the Japanese version, which is made black with squid ink, the American version’s pitch black bun has the added bonus of being slathered in steak sauce.

Dubbed the “A.1. Halloween Whopper” (or Ha.1.Loween Whopper, per FastFoodWatch), the new burger is made with a beef patty topped with melted American cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, mayonnaise, pickles, onions and, of course, A.1.

The new Whopper’s black bun gets its distinct color by baking steak sauce directly into the bread — no squid ink necessary.

Americans can get their new spooky burger starting September 28, but it will only be available for a limited time.
