Manson was supposed to undergo surgery for significant intestinal bleeding last week, but doctors decided last minute that he was too weak for them to operate on him. Because there was nothing else the hospital could do to help him, he was taken back to prison for security reasons.

A source revealed, however, that the 82-year-old’s condition has taken a turn for the worse and that Manson is in bad shape.

“He’s not good,” the source said. “His health is failing.”
