Despite decades of perseverance, gender inequality is still very much alive around the world. Though it was released last month by Pantene Philippines, this viral video has only recently received a global ad push by parent company Proctor and Gamble. The video, set to a haunting rendition of “Mad World” by Tears for Fears, illustrates the differences between men and women in the working world.
For example, the video dictates that if a man walks down the street in dapper attire he is smooth. If a woman were to walk down the street in similar dress, she would be labeled as a show off.
