After losing their beloved dog, Coco and Ice-T definitely aren’t ready to party.

The couple’s daughter, Chanel, will turn one this week. While the new parents had a big bash in the works for their little girl, Coco revealed that those plans will just have to wait.

“Cuz I’ve been mourning over Spartacus I put Chanel’s Birthday on hold (which was today) I feel I need 2 honor Sparty before a celebration,” she shared with fans via Twitter.

On Sunday, the family lost their precious pooch, Spartacus, after he died from complications during knee surgery.


“He was my 1st baby with Ice. There’ll never be another,” Coco wrote. “I feel his life was way too short. He touched everyone. I love u Spart.”

Baby Chanel also “tweeted” about the passing of her “big bro.”

“I lost my big bro Spartacus today after knee surgery. He was a cuddler and a love. Had a short time with him but worth every minute of it,” she tweeted.

Coco’s husband of 15 years, rapper and actor Ice-T, shared his sadness with fans.

“I never knew I could feel so sad about something.. Thank you for ALL your kind words.. Spart was my guy! I’m F’d up. RIP Spartacus,” he tweeted. “Spartacus was a Very special friend… You have no idea.”

Despite all of the sadness at home, both Ice-T and Coco shared special birthday wishes for their baby girl on Tuesday.
