Comedian Brian Regan hilariously describes the origins of the walkie-talkie

In his stand-up special “I Walked on the Moon,” comedian Brian Regan talks about the origins of the walkie-talkie.

He said he was surprised to learn it was a military invention because military inventions usually have strong names like “Apache Helicopter” and “Tomahawk Missile.”

Referring to the walkie-talkie, he asked, “How did that slip through the system?”

“What’s it called?” he said as he mimicked a military general.

“Walkie-talkie. Look, I’m walking and I’m talking,” Regan hilariously replied to his military general’s question.
