“Over the river and through the woods to grandmother’s house we go!” Tis the season of traveling to see family and friends to share gratitude and gifts of food and love, to remember special moments with laughter and tears, and to create new memories that in the future will invoke laughter and tears.

For “Forever Country” producer, singer and mega-hit songwriter Shane McAnally, he’s already got a memory filled with laughter in the books.

During a pre-Thanksgiving visit to Nanny’s house, Shane’s 3-year-old daughter apparently had a cold tushy. At least that’s what the caption accompanying his hilarious Instagram post says. But, the enterprising young tot didn’t wait for anyone to fix her situation. She took matters into her own hands, walked over to her gram’s fireplace, dropped her jammy bottoms and popped her bottom high up into the air where the heat could get right to her chilly posterior.

Shane writes, “She told my Mom her bottom was cold. #WeekendAtNannies”

Shane has just learned that a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do and the results are enough to double you over with laughter. And baby girl has what might be the first of many photos that will haunt her for the rest of her life at the most inopportune moments like the night of her first date, prom night and in those awesome wedding reception slide shows.

Happy Thanksgiving to Shane and his beautiful family.
