Hughley didn’t do much to hide his annoyance that Martin Luther King III met with Trump.

“He seems a little desperate for money,” Hughley said, referencing King’s attempt to sell his father’s Bible and Nobel Peace Prize.

The comedian then talked about Trump’s recent spat with civil rights leader John Lewis. According to Hughley, King should have publicly stood up for his father’s friend.

“He was wrong for what he said about John Lewis, and if Martin Luther King had the balls his father did, he would have said it,” Hughley said. “He’s Martin Luther King, not the Burger King.”
