In this clip, Boening politely but sternly asks Senator Tom Cotton–who the military father describes as the biggest hawk in Washington besides Lindsey Graham–when the U.S. can finally declare “mission accomplished” and bring our soldiers home.

When Cotton says that won’t be any time soon, Boening responds with some important practical points about what the terrorist threat actually is versus the sacrifice we ask of our soldiers and their families.

This short four minute clip is well worth your time.
