Derek Hough, you are breaking our hearts!

On Wednesday, the “Dancing with the Stars” pro appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and fessed up about his future plans.

“I won’t be back next season. I am going to be a part of a new show called ‘World of Dance’ with Jennifer Lopez and Ne-Yo,” he said. “It’s going to be a fun show. It’s going to be a great show!”

He also shared the exciting news on Instagram.

“Here’s the exciting news I’ve been hinting at. Thrilled to be joining @jlo and @neyo with the amazing new show ‘WORLD OF DANCE’. I cannot wait to see the amazing talent we will uncover on this new incredible adventure! #WOD #DANCE#1millionDollars #dancers#livewithpassion #nbc,” he wrote on Tuesday.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Hough will be a judge on the upcoming NBC reality dance show. A premiere date has not been set.

Hough also served as Best Man in fellow “DWTS” alum Mark Ballas’ recent wedding.

“He actually asked me 17 years ago when we were 14 years old,” Hough revealed. “So there was a lot of pressure, actually. Luckily, it went well. It went good. I have never been more nervous in my life.”

DeGeneres asked about the possibility of Hough walking down the aisle soon.  “Are you dating anybody?” she asked.

Hough giggled and flushed a little as he said, “perhaps. I dunno. Yes.”

Of course, Hough’s next “challenge” is “Hairspray Live!”

“The extent of this… the magnitude of it. It’s like filming a full length feature film live before your eyes,” he said. “There’s a few lines that I just flub my lines over.”

“Hairspray Live!” airs December 7 on NBC.
