According to the news outlet, Thaddeus was adopted from Calcutta, India, in 1994, 2 years after Farrow separated from Woody Allen in 1992.

Wilk was a paraplegic and contracted polio before being adopted by the movie star.

The 71-year-old actress released a statement on Thursday afternoon.
