WUSA reports that local sheriff’s office officials said five students broke into Chopticon High School at 3:30 a.m. last Wednesday and released the ladybugs. Investigators determined that one of the students ordered the ladybugs online. They identified seven suspects.

The four juveniles were charged with fourth degree burglary, property destruction and disruption of school activities. The other three, who have turned 18, will receive a criminal summons.

None of those involved were named.
