This guy had the toughest choice of the evening on Monday’s season premiere of “The Voice.”

Dave Moisan, a medical device salesman, sang “Sex and Candy” by Marcy Playground for his blind audition. Almost immediately, the coaches took notice. When the 90 seconds ended, Moisan had Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus begging him to join their teams.

“Other than turning around first, and believing in you first before anybody else, I went there because falsetto is hard,” Levine said. “I just felt instantly connected because I want you and I need you.”

“He doesn’t even talk to his wife like that!” Cyrus chimed in.

Moisan revealed that he found his inspiration for music when he met Levine after a Maroon 5 show.

“I don’t know what else I can say other than you’re a part of Adam’s fan club,” Shelton said.

Levine promised that he would make Moisan the best version of himself, saying, “I’m not letting you go.”

But Keys wasn’t going to give up without a fight. “I feel like I can really help. I can play for you,” she said. “I hope that you choose me as your coach!”

In the end, Moisan wound up on Team Alicia! She stole another great contestant from Levine!

“It was genuinely the hardest thing ever to not pick Adam,” Moisan said after choosing to spend the season with Alicia Keys. We think he made a great choice.
