After spending about four days recovering from a bout of pneumonia, Hillary Clinton returned to the campaign trail Thursday.
Clinton greeted reporters aboard her campaign plane before heading off to an event in North Carolina. She smiled and said she was “doing great” before answering a question about the TV shows she watched during her recovery.
Clinton’s health made headlines Sunday when she stumbled after leaving a 9/11 memorial service in New York City. Her campaign later revealed she’d been diagnosed with pneumonia last week.
Earlier Thursday, Clinton phoned into the “Tom Joyner Morning Show” and told the hosts she was “really glad” that she’d finally followed her doctor’s orders to rest rather than “powering through” her illness.
Clinton campaigns in Greensboro, N.C., before heading to a speak to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute in the nation’s capital.
