PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. —A man is being held in the Palm Beach County Jail on suspicion he violated a restraining order the same day he was released from jail on a domestic battery charge, according to an arrest report.

Antwone Willis is facing charges of aggravated stalking and violating the restraining order. He is being held without bail.

Willis, 31, was arrested by Palm Beach County sheriff’s deputies Sept. 23 after he allegedly punched his girlfriend several times and closed a door on her arm.

Willis was released on bail the evening of Sept. 23 and immediately began calling and texting the 39-year-old Lake Worth woman in violation of the restraining order, the report said.

Willis told the woman he wanted to see her before he jumped his bail and said he needed to take a shower, then get a ride to the airport, the report said. The woman told deputies she believed Willis was preparing to flee to Texas.

On Sept. 28, the woman called the PBSO and said Willis was driving up and down her street in a convertible. By the time deputies arrived, Willis was gone.

On Sept. 29, Willis attempted to contact the woman by phone more than 10 times and called utility companies to turn off the power and water in the victim’s home.

Deputies arrested Willis was arrested on Oct. 1.
