It’s back to work, indeed.

Kanye West took the Chicago stage Friday five days after he stopped a show upon learning his wife, Kim Kardashian, was robbed at gunpoint in Paris.

While West, who canceled two concerts earlier this week, didn’t overtly address his audience about the robbery, he paused briefly to say “It’s good to be home,”  according to the Chicago Tribune.

During a performance at the Meadows Music & Arts Festival in NYC last week, the 39-year-old rapper cut out to tend to a “family emergency.”

Although some concertgoers presumably left angry, it was later announced that Kardashian “was held up at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room this evening by two armed, masked men dressed as police officers.” The incident was scary, and thankfully, the mother of two was only “badly shaken but not physically harmed,” as Rare previously reported.
