In a Facebook post that has since been liked more than 7,000 times and shared more than 1,000 times, the office poked fun at itself with a photo of a deputy’s cruiser parked in front of a local Dunkin’ Donuts following Hurricane Matthew.

“JSO Officer Crnolic made sure that the Dunkin’ Donuts located at Beach Boulevard and Hodges Boulevard was secure,” the office’s post said. “We confirmed, no donuts went missing.”

Resident’s appreciated the lighthearted nature of the post following the panic leading up to the storm and Matthew’s devastating aftereffects.
