Burgess is best known for his roles as Titus Andromedon on “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” and Sebastian the crab in “The Little Mermaid” on Broadway. On the show here, he got matched up with John Stamos, and it is immediately clear that the two have different tones to their voices.

Stamos immediately recognized this and tried to get Burgess to sing the highest note he could. Instead, the two compromised on a little song.

He and Stamos then burst out into “Kiss the Girl” from the Disney on Broadway production, making a combination that we didn’t know we wanted until now.

We don’t know when — if ever — Disney will start back up on “The Little Mermaid” on Broadway production, but what we do know is this: include John Stamos next time. You can thank us later.
