And while weeks have gone by, Kane still seems rocked by the incident. “It was hard because I was all the way in Nebraska.” Kane told People Now. “I got a text from my oldest sister saying that she was stabbed. I just wished I could have been there. I wanted to turn the bus around to go back but we had two weeks of shows. I just had to make sure she was OK.”

She did pull through, as Kane shared an update on his sister’s condition with his fans. “I don’t know the full story,” he said. “I know she is getting better now. She is recovering. She is texting me. I do know they arrested the girl. I don’t know where they found her. I know she is arrested and my sister is doing better so thanks everyone that have been giving me their prayers.”

The incident was definitely a rough spot in an otherwise amazing year for Kane. The country sensation is currently basking in the success of his Gold-certified single “Used To Love You Sober,” a crazy successful slot on the Florida Georgia Line tour, and a brand-new infectious single titled “Thunder in the Rain. ” Kane also recently announced that he would be going out on his own Monster Energy Outbreak Ain’t No Stopping Us Now headlining tour.
