In case you didn’t know it by now, Kane Brown has a heart of gold.
Inside of his rough-looking exterior lies a heart of a man who not only gives thanks to God for his talents, but also is always trying to do right when it comes to his fans.
So now, as Kane continues to surge toward country music stardom, it’s not very surprising that the Georgia boy wants to stop and make an apology to all of his fans who have been supporting him and his career from the days when he was just a kid singing George Strait covers in the bathroom of his childhood home.
Or maybe, it’s not that surprising after all. It’s just who Kane Brown is.
“It’s really upsetting,” Kane admitted to Rare Country minutes before his opening slot in Chicago on Florida Georgia Line ‘s Dig Your Roots Tour. “I feel like I just don’t have time to do as many covers as I used to. I can barely find time for myself. If I’m anywhere where I have the time to do a video, sometimes it won’t sound good because we are on the back of the bus and the generator is going. Sometimes it feels like there’s no privacy at all when you are out here on the road. “
And then, as if he instinctively felt as if he was making excuses, he stopped and paused for a moment.
“I’m disappointed in myself,” he says quietly, as the hustle and bustle of the backstage area stirred around him. “Once we finish everything with this tour and get the record wrapped up, I’m going to have more time to do those videos that have helped so much to further my career.”
Awww don’t worry, Kane. Your real fans understand and will be waiting for ya.
